At the beginning of the year, we all have these goals to get in shape and be the best us we can be. It’s December, so by now, you have probably given up on your resolution. Usually, by March I quit, only to realize in April that spring is here and the countdown to my summer body already started. Now, I am behind. I rush to come up with “healthy meals” before our next trip to the grocery store. Meal prep on Sunday and start taking the steps instead of the elevator. Then on that one cheat day, I overindulge and never recover. Each day I make the same excuse, “I’ll start over tomorrow.” Right beside me is my husband with the same excuse, until this last time when he decided he was making a change whether I joined him or not.
